Camping Merit Badge

Of all the Eagle Required Merit Badges, Camping requires that you spend the most time outdoors. It requires 20 camping nights, under the stars or in a tent. Among these must include two of the following:

1. A camp out that includes rappelling

2. A winter camp out

3. A camp out that includes a hike with a 1000'          elevation gain

Every weekender that is spent in a tent counts toward your Camping Merit Badge, however only one long term camp out can be applied.

By attending the weekender camp outs and resident camp, you can earn the Camping Merit Badge in 2018.
