Our patrols will have to pick up extra provisions. This year, each patrol will have to use lashings to connect two poles for the provision pick-up.
Many lashings are properly started and finished using a clove hitch.
The best lashings for this would be the round lashing and the western lashing. Simple round lashings will be the quickest to tie. They are best tied in pairs to secure the poles against twisting.
